Birdbaths A
"birdbath" is a minor depression in which water settles on a non-pourus
court surface after a rain or flooding. If the water remaining covers a
five cent piece after waiting an hour minimum in 70 degree temperatues
in sunlight, then it can be considered a "birdbath". | Cracks Cracking
conditions may occur either in the base or on the surface of an asphalt
Tennis Court. Cracking may stem from base movement, poor compaction of
the subbase or from old asphalt that becomes brittle and loses its
flexability within freeze and thaw conditions. |
